Paddy’s O”Granola is an Irish company making great shakes in the world of Granola. Paddy O’Connell came to me with a good idea of what he wanted, something smart and a little quirky. Quirky’s my favourite word (along with elephant) and so I enjoyed working on this job.
Paddy’s delicious breakfast (or anytime of the day) granola is available in supermarkets across the country so check out his stockists page for details!
Kilkenny Farmhouses is a collective of five B&B’s in Kilkenny that are marketing under the one banner. They were great fun to work with and I spent a few days gathered round Gretta’s kitchen table full of homemade scones, drinking truck loads of tea and discussing the project with the five ladies.
They wanted a country feel to their branding but also an element of fun. Everyone was delighted with the end result and fingers crossed it works out well for the women of the “Happy Valley.”
On this job I designed the website as the ladies already had Kevin at Fewer Consulting lined up to build it. Check out the website at www.kilkennyfarmhouses.com
The homes are definitely worth a visit if only for the food alone!
I was walking through town last night and saw my Smarter Travel banners along by the library in Kilkenny. Pretty happy with how they look (if I do say so myself!!) I went back this morning and took a few pics above.
Smarter Travel is a great initiative designed to make people think about the way they travel. This Saturday the 25th of June a family day is being run in Kilkenny with lots of activities to entice people off the couch and out of their cars.
Sony released their new advert for Wimbleton, just saw it this morning. Its well done and a nice nod to their 2006 ad with the coloured balls (still much prefer the original though). Not too sure about the two people on the couch either, surely they got pelted by all the balls!
Okay so it’s not mine but it will be someday, someday when I have money coming out of my ears and I fancy living off the coast of Scotland. I haven’t blogged in a while so when I saw this beautiful house within a house I thought it was more than worthy of a mention. It’s a renovation job on the small island of Coll off the coast of Scotland, have a look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.
So now that I’ve found the manor of my dreams, all I have to do to fulfill the trinity is find the money and the man. Simple!
So the queen is coming and we’ve gone all out… the government has decided to throw yet more money down the toilet. All the gold reserves in the country have been melted down and are as I type been installed in any lavatory the Queen is likely to visit, the palace has informed Ireland that the exact timing of her bowel movements is not a science but we have left nothing to chance…
So it’s a lovely day, in fact this could be our summer. This could be it. Gone in the blink of a half closed eye. And what better way to spend a sunny day than sprawled out on a checkered blanket with a picnic basket and some friends. The smell of car fumes and the sound of shopping trolleys bouncing over tarmac brought me back to the picnics of my childhood when my parents waited patiently to grab a space and all five of us spent hours watching the shoppers roll by…
I’m a little late to this judging by the 18 million views but I have been looking for stop motion inspiration and one of my housemates suggested this yesterday, one of the best videos I have ever seen, can’t imagine how long it took to make!!
Found Carlos’s work on the internet, his illustrated style is brilliant, this video is a few years old so I have discovered him a little late, some might say even say I’m out of date…ah well (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it). Click here to link to his site.
My brochure produced alongside Ann Phelan at Detail marketing for Castelcomer Discovery Park will be in all local papers today.
The park is a great facility to have and it’s just on the outskirts of our little town or our big city depending on your viewpoint. It has loads to offer which you’ll see in the brochure so put on your hiking boots, get out your fishing rods, put on your mining helmet, don your artists smock and become a hiking, fishing, mining artist, sure what more could you ask for!
