This is the second in my Birds of Paradise series developed for Kilkenny Arts week 2015. It’s a watercolour, pen and ink drawing. It’s available in A3 and in an A5 postcard. Please contact me if you’d like to purchase a print.

Haven’t blogged here in a while between everything but did update work lately so that’s a bonus! (I’m patting myself on the back!) Anyway, the Loftus Hall brochures landed on my desk this morning and I had to post about them, I’m delighted with how they look.
They are designed to the Loftus branding and even have a treasure map inside with illustrations of all the hook’s attractions. I might just take another trip down myself!
Some pictures of Kilkenny from a past life. What do you think, have we improved our city?
In my ow opinion, we should go back to these images as reference for any future work, but I don’t think this will happen. Our modern signage, recently hung up around the town, is an indication of the direction that our council intends to take. I totally disagree, we live in a medieval city shouldn’t we try our best to preserve that?
Hi All,
Just a quick note to say my Kilkenny postcards are now available in Rothe House. I put them in to test the waters and they are selling really well, will be adding more to the range soon.
There’s a couple of angels hanging around the castle…
Read about this exhibition by Nollaig Fahy in the paper and decided to head down for a wander. I think they look great in front of Kilkenny castle and I’m delighted to see that the doors are being opened more to things like this, next step a concert I reckon although I’m not sure if the council would be up for that.
Here’s the piece from the paper
“Neil Jordan, The Edge, Uma Thurman and other Irish and international celebrities bring messages of hope to Kilkenny this week with the ‘Angels – Beacons of Hope’exhibition currently taking over the grounds of Kilkenny Castle.
The spectacular exhibition is a showcase of more than 50 colourful, eight-foot tall angels individually designed by Irish and international musicians, celebrities and sports people.
Artist Nollaig Fahy transported his exhibition of the larger than life-size angels to Kilkenny in a bid to raise much-needed funds for charity but also to bring a message of hope to the Marble City.”
Pop down for a look if your about, I think it’s worth it.
